What company are you working for now and what types of products and services do they provide to their customers?
PRINTING United Alliance is the biggest graphic arts trade association in the US and we provide a variety of tools and resources to our members as well as advocate for the industry at the federal, state and local level.

What job did you first have with the company when you started, what position do you have now, and/or what else have you done since joining the company?
I started out as Environmental, Health, and Safety Affairs Coordinator and was promoted to Manager, EHS & Sustainability after I graduated.

What do you think employers are looking for in today’s workforce and the current industry environment?
Drive, creativity, and the ability to think outside the box

Is there anything that you have found to be particularly different from what you initially expected, now that you’ve progressed through your work career for a period of time?
No

Have you changed your plans or ideas about what area or type of job you might like to have since you first considered the graphic communications field and began studying for a career in it? What led to those changes?
I want to stay at PRINTING United Alliance as I truly feel that what we are doing to help the industry is important and making a real difference

What do you see yourself doing a few years from now?
Still in printing that I know for sure

Was being a recipient of a PGSF (now The Foundation for Graphic Communication
Education) scholarship important for your journey, or did it have an impact on your future or ability to succeed in the industry?

Yes, the scholarship made going through school a much less stressful process
