Pittsburgh, PA, June 9, 2026 —The Foundation for Graphic Communication Education (The FGCE, formerly PGSF) has once again partnered with SkillsUSA to support the Graphic Communications competition at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference, held June 1-5 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.

 

Eighteen of the country’s top high school and technical school graphic communications students competed in the national finals for top honors in graphic communication skills. They were among over 7,000 of the nation’s best students who participated in 114 skill and leadership competitions that took place in the congress center.

Pittsburgh, PA, June 9, 2026 —The Foundation for Graphic Communication Education (The FGCE, formerly PGSF) has once again partnered with SkillsUSA to support the Graphic Communications competition at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference, held June 1-5 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. SkillsUSA Champions

 

This year’s national winners in both the secondary and post-secondary divisions will receive $2500 awards provided by The FGCE. In the secondary division, the first-place spot went to Kiley Griggs of East High School, Salt Lake City, UT. The gold medal in the post-secondary group was awarded to Rachel Hansen of Colleen College, McKinney, TX. Silver medal winners Henry Devaney (South & West Washtenaw Consortium & Saline High School, Saline, MI) and Nia Traore (Pellissippi State Community College, Knoxville, TN) will each receive $1750, and Jestina Narvaez (Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, Schnecksville, PA) and Danielle Barnes (Salt Lake Community College, Salt Lake City, UT) will receive $1250 each in recognition of their bronze medals.

 

The SkillsUSA partnership of students, teachers, and industry works together to ensure a skilled workforce for the future. According to Debbie Bohan, Technical Committee member and FGCE Administrative Director, “The Graphic Communications Contest has our best-trained students being taught by our most devoted teachers.”

 

The graphic communications contest is produced by a dedicated group of industry vendors and associations. “The FGCE is pleased to support the ongoing education of the competitors through our awards program,” stated Jeff White, Director of Development for the Foundation.
