Sydney Murrin, a 2023 recipient of the Illinois Scholarship for Graphics Communications through the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation, was a winner in the recent AdFlux 23 Intercollegiate Advertising & Design Competition. Sydney, of McHenry, IL, won first place in the print ad campaign category. She is majoring in Graphic Design at Pennsylvania Western University.

Many of you met Sydney at last summer's Chicagoland Printers Scholarship Golf Outing, hosted by Great Lakes Graphics Association. The proceeds from this outing support scholarships for deserving students in Illinois who are seeking continuing education in the graphic communications field. Since our inaugural golf outing, 104 scholarships totaling more than $193,000 have been awarded. Click here for more info about the scholarship program.
