May 6th, 2025 (Pittsburgh, PA) – The Graphic Communications Education Association is excited to announce the 2025 GCEA 100th Annual Conference, scheduled for July 20-23 in Alpharetta, Georgia, outside of Atlanta. This landmark event brings together college, trade, and high school educators who share a passion for Graphic Communication, a desire to learn, and who see the value of creating connections with peers and industry professionals.
This year’s event theme is “Navigating the Future.” Over the course of three days, more than 25 presentations will be available to attendees, each aligning with one of the three educational tracks: Prospects, Pathways, or Possibilities.
Conference goers will gather at both the HP and Heidelberg USA experience centers, thanks to their generosity and support of education. Lodging is within walking distance to HP and a bus will be provided on Tuesday to Heidelberg.
Educational events will be held at both sites, including tours, technology demonstrations, and guest speakers on location, covering relevant topics, trends, and case studies. Participants will walk away understanding expanded career opportunities and future forecasting to take back to their programs, administrations, and students.
A hallmark of the GCEA 100th annual conference is a celebration Monday evening when a Book capturing the past century of GCEA will be unveiled. Conference registration includes a ticket to the gala – non-conference attendees who are interested can purchase individual Monday night event tickets. The evening program will include dinner, networking, and a toast to those educators who held the torch over the past 100 years and to those who are carrying the torch into the future.
