Dscoop & PGSF Announce New Grant Program

Dscoop Grant January 8, 2026  (Pittsburgh, PA) — The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) and Dscoop, the exclusive community of HP Industrial Print and Large Format owners and users, are excited to introduce a new grant program designed to support students pursuing careers in graphic arts. The first round of grants  will provide selected students with the opportunity to attend the Dscoop Edge Rockies event in Denver Colorado, March 8-11 2026.

About the Dscoop Grant Program

The Dscoop Grant Program, supported by HP Industrial Print and administered in partnership with PGSF, aims to foster travel, learning, and professional development for students. By connecting emerging talent to the global print community, the program helps students gain exposure to industry trends, network with professionals, and participate in hands-on workshops and sessions at the Dscoop events.

Dscoop is a year-round program

Edge is one important moment, but it’s not the only opportunity. The Dscoop Grant Program continues beyond Edge Rockies. Students are encouraged to request funds that can support their education, career growth, or professional development, even after the event. This could include future Dscoop events, learning opportunities, or experiences that help them move closer to their career goals. Students who join Dscoop can stay connected year-round through: ·        Online sessions and community conversations ·        Educational content shared by industry professionals ·        Ongoing access to a global network of people willing to share and help If a student can’t attend Edge Rockies, they may still apply for other Dscoop events or future internship opportunities. And once Edge is over, the connection doesn’t stop — Dscoop remains a place to keep learning, asking questions, and staying close to the industry. To qualify for a grant, students must be enrolled as a junior or above in graphic communications, visual or design technology, or print-centric educational program (four-year university, master’s, or doctoral program) and have shown strong academic performance and demonstrate a desire to have a career in the graphic communications industries. “We believe students are the future of our industry, and at Dscoop, with the support from our members and HP Industrial Print, we feel a real responsibility to help them see what print can be. This grant allows us to open doors: connecting students to industry leaders, leading technology, and real career opportunities. Partnering with PGSF gives us the experience to do this right. By coming together as a community, we are investing in the next generation and in a stronger, more relevant future for print. “ Said Peter van Teeseling, Executive Director Dscoop. More details about the requirements for a grant can be found at the application website - Dscoop - Grant Program.    The deadline to apply is February 1st, 2026 and grant winners will be notified by February 10, 2026.
