The RAISE Foundation/Printing Industries Association of Southern California Scholarship

RAISE Foundation Scolarship Established in 1975

 

The RAISE Foundation/Printing Industries Association of Southern California (PIASC) Scholarship was originally established by Recruiting, Advancement of Instructional, and Scholarships for Education in the Graphic Arts, Inc. (RAISE), a subsidiary of the PIASC. The RAISE Foundation was incorporated in 1974 and is funded by the contributions of printing companies in the Southern California area.

 

Funds for Students

 

Awards are made annually to students majoring in printing management. Preference is given to those living in Southern California or Arizona.

This scholarship was established by Roy Downham, Jack Eckelhart, and Jack Frost to assist with the education of the children of their employees. MEGTEC was formed in 1997 through the merger of MEG and TEC Systems.
